“Enjoy life with the one you love, all the days of your fleeting life which God has given you under the sun; for this is your reward in life for your toil and your labor. Whatever your hands find to do in life, do passionately, for there is no activity in death. The race is not to the swift, the battle not to the warrior, neither is bread to the wise nor wealth to the discerning nor favor to men of ability; for time and chance will level all. Only three things last in this life: faith, hope, love, but the greatest of these three is love.” ~ Ecclesiastes 9 – 11 & One Corinthian 13:13.
My Lovely Laura…I can’t be defined without her. I’m passionate about social justice; passionate about equality; passionate about fairness; passionate about writing; but undergirding it all, is my passion for her; her flawless character; quiet determination; sensitive spirit; intuitive wisdom; engaging intellect; radiant beauty – my beloved angel.
My writings come from my heart. My liberal bleeding heart. My liberal bleeding heart that I wear on my sleeve.
I don’t write every day; I don’t pounce on every outrage du jour; I write when words well-up inside my heart and course through my veins.
I have no interest in football or golf or NASCAR or killing animals or scratching or spitting or crude & crass. I’m empathetic and sympathetic, overly-sensitive and too-tender-hearted, prone to tears — but without fear.
I’m not a progressive or center-left — I’m a LIBERAL. I’m proud of it, I own it and I’m not going to wrap it in euphemisms to make it more socially acceptable to politically-correct conservatives. On a clear day, if I turn my head to the right and squint, I can sometimes see Bernie.
I love Kim and Kanye and Caitlyn and Coco and President Obama and Pope Francis — love all, respect all and never judge the personal morals of others. I do, on (extremely-frequent) occasion, point out hypocrisy.
If you enjoy my writings, please share my blog with others whose hearts may agree.
My last name is pronounced “heartagree.”
